A big hi to my space here at Rees Realfood!!!
Everything you need to know about organic food is all about this space. We are now into this fast track life where we have started even defining foods that we eat. Ok fine, we shall define it now.
What is Organic Food?
The word "Organic" is just not an labelling term used on the food products, it means the food has been produced by the methods and practices approved by the Government of India for Organic farming and foods.
The Organic food is a journey long way from ensuring that the soil you grow is pesticide free, no harmful fertilizers used, free from genetically modified seeds, no growth hormones, handled organically afterwards without the use of artificial colours, synthetic additives and more.
By going Organic, you take one of the best step to ensure the quality of foods that you consume. It doesn't end with just giving you an healthy body and mind but also an healthy environment to live in. I don't mean here that Organic farming is completely eco friendly, it just ensures with standards of Organic farming on the farming practices and food production steps followed to produce pesticide free healthy food.
Organic foods are very tasty, nutritious, healthy and earth friendly. Definitely Organic foods are healthy to the body than the foods available in the market.
It really improves your health....
Regular consumption of Organically grown foods is a great way to free yourself from the contaminants on the foods consumed from conventionally grown foods. You just don't taste and eat the pesticides on the food, or the heavy metals such as lead and mercury or solvents like benzene and toluene, but also believed to be some potential cancer causing agents. Minimizing all these, is certainly a health booster. Apart from all this, Organic foods are highly nutritious with lots of vitamins and minerals.
Being Organic is thus increased intake of nutrients and decreased consumption of contaminants.
In this era, Organic foods are definitely a blessing.
I am interested in sharing a lot more about me, My super pass-time is cooking, baking, food photography, art works, like TANJORE PAINTING, NIB PAINTING. Also, I will be sharing posts on health benefits of food spices.
